The Panasonic part number is 2M236-M42E2, and supersedes all previous versions of the 2M236-M42 magnetron.
This is a brand new magnetron is sourced directly from Panasonic .This magnetron is fitted to most Panasonic inverter type microwaves. Some microwaves such as Bosch and Siemens also use this magnetron as they are rebranded Panasonic ovens. These ovens are up market models and are normally well worth repairing. The 2M236-M42 is the inline version of the 2M236, i.e. the airflow is in the same direction as the mounting brackets.The 2M236-M1 and the 2M236-M1G are the offline versions of this magnetron and are also available from in our shop.
